After I did a little upgrade to my main computer I'm getting problems and I'm leaning either toward my old power supply or video card.

Problems:
1. Random freezes in bios settings.
2. I can't install a fresh copy of window 8.1 it get stuck at the logo.
3. Monitor "sometimes" say no signal. When it does get a signal I can load my old installation Windows 8 with no problem.

New Parts:
Motherboard - MSI 970 Gaming
CPU - FX6300
Watercooling - H50
Case - NZXT S340
Fans - 3

Old Parts:
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 500W
GPU - GTX 560 ti (I took from one of my other computers)
Hard Drive - WD 500gb
RAM - 8gb G.Skill Sniper

What could be causing me all this problem? Help..

Almost any part can cause those issues, not just the power supply or video card. You need to start going through the parts and testing them either in a known good system, or use known good parts in yours to rule out the issue. I would start with the power supply first like you though. Also test the RAM if it's multiple sticks, one stick at a time. Run memtest and a hard drive check utility with a boot disk like Hiren's or Ultimate Boot CD.
