Random USB Insert sounds.

Hello! I've recently re-installed windows 7 (Upgraded from HDD to SSD) and I've been hearing the sound a USB makes when you remove it, at random time intervals. I have opened task manager and watched whether something appears when the sound comes but nothing. I did, however, go to the drivers and devices tab in control panel and noticed something. When the sound comes, the "Generic Bluetooth Radio" icon moves around. It sort of changes place. I went to that and played with a few things, disabling stuff and seeing if that works but it didn't. I'm still getting those sounds. Any idea what it might be or is there a fix for it? I'm using a Desktop PC btw. Thanks!

Things I've tried:

Unplugging all connected USB devices one-by-one
Observing task manager (no luck)
Observing devices and printers in control panel (Generic Bluetooth Radio icon moves during sound. Changes places)

Solution
Hmmm...

I would contact your manufacturer. They should be able to help you. If for one had a faulty port on my motherboard and dell sent a tech round to help me the next day do you should have some support/warranty left on your product for them to help you. One of your parts or cables may be faulty.

Do you move your computer around a lot? If you do, something may have come out of place.

Otherwise, all I can think of it being is an OS error, which may mean reinstalling the OS! Which is a pain!! 🙁
You seem to have done some good thorough checks! If you built your own PC then you should check all the cabling is tight and that nothing is flickering in and out of place. As Windows detects new Hardware it will make that sound so check your cabling inside the computer.

I did not build it myself, I just upgraded my HDD but even before that, the sound was still there but it had disappeared for a few months. Now it's back. The cables are fine, I've disabled the sound from control panel but it's still bugging me as to what it might be :/

I don't really think it's an OS error. And no, I don't move my PC around that much. I will contact and chat with the manufacturer and see what comes of it. Thanks for the replies! :)

No problem :)
I hope your issue gets fixed!
Hope I could help!!
Good Luck!!!
