randomly scattered green-blue squares all over display

Hello,My display has been showing some of these squares all over the screen for some time,

but now they literally cover whole screen.I took out my GPU and have been using VGA port on the motherboard(I have very old PC) and since then I haven't seen any of those squares. I'm not in position to buy a new GPU so i wanted to know that Is my GPU dead or can I fix it.Thanks in advance

You're gpu could very likely be dying.

Some users report that baking their old graphics card's (suffering from symptoms similar to yours) PCB in an oven restored the card to fully working order, likely due to the heat resoldering the card's loose soldering.
Do a lot research before you do this, and be very careful.

I changed the SMPS and now everything is working fine. I think the SMPS was not able to provide enough power as it was old or maybe somehow got damaged. But now it is working like a new one. anyway Thanks for your time
