[SOLVED] Randomly shutting off

I have owned a Sennheiser GSX 1000 for a while now and it works perfectly except that sometimes it doesn't power own. When I start my pc the GSX does it's starting thing but then after that it just dies and I have to wait a few minutes before it starts again. I just recently bought a ducky one 2 mini mecha and I have the same problem with it at times.

anyone who knows what might cause this?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition.

And the GSX just starts again on its' own without you wiggling cables and connections or tapping on the GSX, etc..?

How many other USB devices are connected to the host computer?

the ducky is usb as well and no I don't have to wiggle anything they just start after a few minutes. Sometimes it works if I plug them in and out

I have 3 usb devices connected in total

My thought is that your build is at some threshold level for providing power to USB devices.

You may need to use an independently powered USB hub.

okayy so it's probably a power thing? I'm bulding a new pc so the problem should go away after that then?

Hopefully yes.

Caveat being the planned build's power requirements and the installed PSU.

Take a close look at current USB device requirements and then plan ahead for any future devices that you are considering.
