Randomly slow startups!

Specs:
i7 980x @ 4.01 ghz
8 GB Ram
1 Corsair 120gb SSD
1 WD 7200 RPM 1 TB HD
2x Asus 6970 Crossfired
Windows 7 64bit

Around a month ago I started to have random startup issues with my computer. It would take around 10 minutes to load up all my programs and everything was extremely slow. It happens completely randomly too. It happened around 8 times so far and I don't know why its doing it.

I don't believe I installed any programs during this time period. If someone can give me some ideas as to why this is happening and how to fix it? =X

You can enter msconfig into the windows start menu, and check startup.

Disable anything there that you deem unnecessary. If that doesn't help your issue then simply backup anything important on your C:\ drive, and reinstall windows.

yeah check that, also have you installed any antimalware sofwares lately? when I installed norton after a few restarts the startup slowed down from lets say 20sec. to a minute 😛 so yeah be sure to check that... unless your getting any other errors its nothing to worry about, if you do get more errors or bluescreens it could be a hdd failure but without errors its just annoying
