Randomly Started Lagging

A week ago I was able to play PUBG(Player Unknown's Battlegrounds) with all my settings on max and no dropping in frame rate at all and it ran smoothly. I try to play now and I haven't changed anything and I'm getting really bad lag and it freezes for about 5 seconds and it happens a lot in close combat as well. I don't know if it might be my graphics card or maybe my router? I have the same internet and everything else like my internet browser runs fast.

Here are my Specs:
I'm on windows 10 and I've had my computer for about a year
Graphics Card- GeForce GTX 1060 3gb
Processor- Intel core i7-7700k CPU 4.20GHz
Ram- 16GB
Motherboard- MSI B150 PC mate lga 1151
Drive- SSD 2TB

I don't know what the problem is please help!!?

I was running player unknown's battlegrounds perfectly and then I set up a second monitor and ever since I did that I have been receiving a lot of lag spikes while playing and it has never happened before. Any reason why or any fix to this?

Turns out that wasn't the reason I tried disconnecting the monitor
