Range Extender set up HELP!

Can i use a Netgear wireless ADSL2 + Router DG834G v4 as a Range Extender.
My modem(Hitron CVE-30360) itself has a Wireless router in it. So can i connect the Netgear wirelessADSL2+Router DG834G v4 to my HITRON CVE-30360 and use it as Range Extender.

Hey, it is a DG 834G v4.

I don't know much about this stuff but I hope you can guide me trough the steps. I have tried by reading some other articles but something is not working.

Will you have an ethernet cable from the modem to the Netgear device, or do you need to do it wirelessly?

Hi

If you are looking to running that Netgear in range extender mode, you can't as it does not support that function, but, as Adamwinn suggested, you could run an ethernet cable to the point where you need extra wireless coverage and set it up as a regular access point.
