I recently RMA'd my CPU and the replacement arrived, I also swapped from a Corsair H60i to a Noctua NH-D14 cooler (and my temps are remarkably a lot better) however ever since I have had this new cooler my PC has been beeping.

Originally I thought it was my RAM as it would beep twice rapidly, replaced them with some new low profile RAM and the double beep stopped. However it still beeps the first 5-10 minutes into turning it on.

Well today I noticed that it appears to beep when my CPU fan (or possibly the one fan I have to a fan header rather than a fan controller) starts to spin up faster that is when it beeps. After it has beeped once or twice it doesn't beep again.

Currently if the PC has been on for a while and the CPU fans go almost silent due to low RPM and then kick up when I do anything CPU intensive it does not beep.

Solution
It may be the case that all the fans are working right, and indeed spinning.

But the cause could be down to a broken polling wire that connects to the fan so the bios knows the rpm of each fan is spinning at.

If the case, and the fans are all connected right to the fan headers of the motherboard, and are spinning.
Then it may be the cause. Either a bad soldered wire or a break in the polling wire.
Icy.

I may have to do that eventually, first I will check all my fan connections and double check the disable settings in bios were saved.
