Hi just purchased a Ranjitek Styx case for my wife and putting a gigabyte B360M DS3H MATX motherboard and noticed that there is a standoff position missing. The mb is upside down on these cased so normally bottom right.

There is no standoff hole at all to screw the standoff in, just wondering if anyone else had this or is it a manufacturing defect or normal.

Only issue I have is will be putting a big GPU in and even though I have 3 standoffs in around it didn't want to over exert too much stress on the MB.

To me that board has non standard mounting holes.

Should be one near the bottom of the ram slots on nearly every matx I've seen .

6 in total, yours only has 4.

I would be tempted to at least pack that corner out with something non conductive just to stop the board bouncing or flexing if it were me.

From looking at images on overclockers when they reviewed the case looks like it is standard for the mount to not be there.

madmatt30, this motherboard has the standard six holes which I have compared to a Asus matx board I have and the holes are the same so must be a case decision as the mount in theory would go were the backplate support would be.

I have circled in red on picture where the standoff should be.

mATX can have upto 9 holes, same as ATX, it's upto the board manufacturer whether they implement them all or go with a more standard layout.

That case comes with 8 standoffs it's just missing 'S' (turn my picture 90°to right)

Oh, and do the wife a solid, use the top fan mounts as intakes since the gpu is now upside down too. If you use top exhaust you'll starve the gpu for air as the gpu intake fans will be right next to case exhaust. The bottom rear ran will be exhaust, I'd suggest the use of a tower cpu cooler or small aio
