Question Rapidly Duplicating Tabs

My uncle is asking me for help but I can't find the solution or even a similar issue online. Whenever he opens a browser (Edge, IE, Chrome) it continuously opens up new tabs. In Edge and IE it just opens go.microsoft.com over and over, pretty much rendering his machine useless.

He claims to have used firman otro and Malwarebytes to find and rid himself of the problem, but after removing things the programs marked as harmful/dangerous, the problem persisted.

Anyone have any ideas on possible solutions?

Do you know how he opens his browsers?

Is Microsoft his default website?

If he uses, "CTRL" + "T" and the "T" key repeats/sticks lots of tabs may open.

Open a new window on your computer and try it. (Use a new window because it is easier to close them all by acknowledging "close all".)

Try a different keyboard, as previous guy mention it sounds like CTRL+T might be sticking or something.
