I need/want a white, inverted ATX case that can't be over 8" wide. This creature does not seem to exist lol. If your not familiar with an 'inverted' case, it's simply a case that opens on the right side instead of the almost exclusively left side. The mobo sits on on the opposite side of a regular case, the left side. I have a glorious, motorized height adjustable desk and have a pc mount under it. The catch is, I mounted it on the LEFT side under the desk, so I thought it would look nice to see the visible insides with a right side , clear glass or plexi opening pc case, in white, and due to the limits of the pc mount, can't be over 8" wide. I can't seem to find anything like this. If you google 'inverted pc case', you get a list of a handful that don't fulfill my needs/wants....Anyone know of one that fits this criteria?

If it's mounted so you can't really see the top or bottom of the case, then what's stopping you from turning a whole regular ATX case upside down? Nothing in a PC really cares which side is up except reservoirs or optical drives, and many cases will let you mount those inverted. In fact that way the GPU gets better cooling because the hottest part of the heatpipes gets placed at the lowest point for some gravity assist.

Thanks for the reply...I think most ATX cases aesthetically would look a bit odd flipped upside down, not for the least reason the on/off and USB et al inputs are along the top edge, but the looks too would be 'off'.

thanks for the reply, that's the exact result I found as well when I first went hunting...that exact list. The first one, the Raijintek Thetis I REALLY like and am considering, even though it's not white, the brushed aluminum look is really cool too...I would have to bust out a dremel or tool to expand my stupid mount though, because the upside down 'L flap' that holds the pc in the holder only expands to 8" and I think this one is just a bit wider. Pretty sure I could McGyver it though lol..

yea, I was worried that my mobo being an ATX would give me headaches sandwiching everything in ...my PS is not modular which would add to the headache...My current case works OK, but it's old, looks old and is black. I really want a white one with a tinted window on the RIGHT side of it...really cool aesthetic, even if it's only marginally seeable under the desk lol
