Raspberry remote desktop reconnect option

Hey guys!
I'm still learning Unix based operating systems and I need to solve something with a Raspberry PI device. Here at the firm I work at we use them to connect to a remote Windows desktops and basicly work from the server. The problem is, sometimes they lose a few packets on the network and disconnect. Now, is there a way to make the Raspberry auto-reconnect when the connection is lost?

So, I have tried to set things up, the problem is, the Raspberry won't react to anything if the remote desktop connection is down for more than 20 seconds. I basicly freezes.
