RAT 7 gaming mouse problem

Hi, I recently bought a RAT 7 gaming mouse. It is a really good mouse but when I turn my pc on for the first time in the morning it only moves in a vertical line, and is really dodgy for a bit. Does anyone know why?

have you tried the following

- Cleaning the mouse
- cleaning the mousepad/area you use it
- changing mouse pads
- reseting the drivers to default
- Tested it on another computer?

Some people claim its sensitive to dust

Thanks minarix, yesterday I took my mouse pad away and used it on just my desk. It works perfect now.
