That MX500 the exact suggestion I was going to make. The two drives offer a similar level of performance, so it's probably worth going with the 500GB MX500 for just $10 more than the 250GB 860 Evo. Or if you really wanted the Samsung, the 500GB model of that drive isn't all that much more, at just $20 more than the 250GB. The 250GB versions of these drives are kind of poorly priced, in my opinion, at least for anyone who could benefit from installing things like games to them.

Also, if you think you could benefit from having more bulk storage, the 2TB versions of the 7200RPM Seagate Barracudas are only...

I was looking into this, but I found out that a Ryzen 5 would be better for gaming? I do some video editing aswell, but nothing too critical.
