Rate/Critique my first build

Hey guys. So I've spent quite awhile researching and comparing parts and have finally came up with something that is in my budget and I am pretty happy with.

I want this computer for gaming and personal use, life surfing the web or doing things for school. I'm pretty sure this build will meet what I want, but since it is my first build I just want to make sure all these parts are compatible and if this is an OK build. I'm especially unsure of the power supply and optical drive. I tried to calculate the wattage and I think the one I chose should be enough and the optical drive, even though I'm sure I'm way over thinking it, is just confusing to me for whatever reason.

tl;dr
Will these parts work together and will it be a decent gaming computer?
If I could just get some feedback, recommendations, or any advice really, that would be fantastic. Thanks!

i can build something better but id need your budget and if you are going to overclock or not.

also mention if you are going to do SLI or crossfire in the future with your video card

My budget is about $750 but I could probably push $800-$820. I would probably overclock but it isn't guaranteed. I also wasn't planning on doing SLI or crossfire, at least not in the near future.

well you are definitely not going to overclock on a q chipset board

this build does not have overclocking but is a lot cheaper than a build with overclocking

That looks great, and is definitely cheaper than what I had. One question though, why the step down from the 3570K to the 3470?

because if you are not overclocking, what is the point of a k chip? if you want to overclock, you will have to pay a lot more
