Hi everyone,

I have created a PC Build that I am planning on putting together later this year, I will be using the PC to game CSGO, World of Warcraft and most likely getting into streaming those games.

I would like to know if there are any improvements that can be made to the list or any tweaks and adjustments that can save me some dollars without losing so much performance.

Thank you for your time, I am looking forward to your inputs.

depends on your budget tho i wouldn't touch Intel or nvidia after all of the patchs had a few my stepsons go down after updates go find a AMD build with half the price more preformance better bang for your buck & can always upgrade CPU's without a motherboard swap

1. You don't need 850W. EVGA 650W is more than enough. The pick can be SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply.
2. You plan to get GTX1080Ti but your chosen monitor Acer use AMD freesync. You should get Gsync monitor. Dell 27" 1440p 144hz Gsync monitor or other Gsync monitor.

Thanks for the input, I wasn't aware of any of the recent patches and the bugs it came with it. Can you please elaborate on that? I am abit skeptical with AMD processors because in the past they were always inferior to Intel but I'm guessing they did a better job with the Ryzen series?

Yeah I was debating on the 650W but I just assumed going with the 850W would be the "safer" bet. Is there really no need for the higher watt (performance wise) ?
And thank you for the correction on the monitor, ill make the change to a proper one that will go with the Nvidia card.

Lastly, I plan on putting this build together towards the summer time or middle of summer, do you think the prices on some of these parts would drop a little at that time of the year?

I was thinking around June of 2018 or shortly after that. Wouldn't this build be solid though even if Intel or AMD released newer GPUs and processors at that time of the year?

You are my people!

Check out my build in the sig!

I think for WoW the 1080 Ti is a bit overkill even for 1440p 144Hz. CSGO is not much better. I think you can get by with a 1080, however the prices they are right now you can probably go with the 1080 Ti for that price anyways.

I don't think Ryzen 2 is going to bring anything that can compete with Intel. That's what they said about Ryzen and the 1800x barely beat the 7700k for gaming and it was $550 at launch. Then the 8700k came out and FORCED Ryzen prices to drop MASSIVELY. Now you can get an 1800x for the same price as an 8700k and it STILL doesn't beat it for gaming.

I'll make some suggestions later I have to see what is available in Canada. All I know is the US market. BRB

I have a 1080 Ti and I play at 3440x1440 100Hz and my fps (when not inhibited by the CPU) is over 200. I think a 1080 will be more than enough. And with those savings you can spring for a G-sync monitor, which are super smooth to game on. I wouldn't play on a monitor without G-sync after my X34. Very choice!

The H115i is going to be significantly better than the CM cooler. Well worth the extra $50 IMO. Corsair RAM links with Aura so if you went with the Strix board it will work with that.
The Hero has great OC control is one of the best boards you can get, it's not as pretty as the Strix but it's still a great board. Up to you. I personally have the Formula but its a $450US board...

The Seasonic Prime Titanium is an absolutely fantastic PSU, and you would only need 650W.

In any case you should wait and see what will be out when you are ready to build.

Not only Ryzen 2, who knows what Intel will introduce in the next months.
Moreover, it does not matter what you pick, as soon as a new processor line is available, the older ones should go down in price.
Having AMD back on the market is a good thing. Both Intel and AMD will try harder to win the market.
I am very optimistic, that both Intel and AMD will be quite aggressive bringing new processor line to the market this year.

A 1080ti is overkill for 1440p. I have a link to my rig in my sig, that I play WoW @1440p. Unless you really want the RGB ram, I would choose a less expensive model. Some more storage would be good to have too, to help keep the SSD clean. Pictures, video, music, you can store on an HDD. Also if you decide to record and stream, you can record to the HDD. Good luck on finding an GPU that is in stock. I changed the monitor to a G-Sync capable one. I left graphics card out because I cannot seem to find any that are in stock.
