First time visitor, just would like to see if someone wouldn't mind taking a quick look at my build and telling me what I might be overspending on or if anything doesn't seem right with it.

The only thing I am "stuck with" is my case, and the one thing I really require is the Intel i5-4670 cpu. Obviously I want a very strong GPU as well.First time here, but am very impressed with the site, any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to look at this.

Figured I could get away without one and decide if I could squeeze it into my budget 2-4 weeks down the road. I have seen almost every build with one included so I might just wait so I can include it. Thank you both for the opinions :)

The 4GB GTX 770 is a waste of money for most users and applications.

Your PSU is bigger than you need (and more expensive). A good 650 watt psu is plenty, such as this one :

FYI I am running a 3570K @ 4.3 ghz with a GTX 770 2gb, and my system is smoking fast. Boots to desktop in 8 seconds flat with windows 8.1 update 1 with a crucial m500 SSD. Very happy with it.

You would only benefit from the 4GB 770 if you are running resolutions higher than 1080p or using multiple monitors. The 4GB is a little more future proof. If you are ever considering running SLI, you'll be glad you got the 4GB over the 2GB. I kept the psu at 750w to keep open the option of SLI.

Makes sense, and that is why I overdid it on the power supply, to leave myself room for the future. I think I am going to take that approach, wait, save up some more for an SSD, better GPU, and crank out some more RAM. Then I should be good to go for quite some time. Thanks again, and thank you for your opinion as well adroid, I realize I might be overdoing it on some components, but again in a couple years "overdid" might just be seen as average ;)

What I really can't get a grasp on is what motherboard I want/need. Granted I need to just research the different brands and types, I am just finding it kind of overwhelming and simply picked one that had good reviews.
