After some further research I have a more finalized build. I was wondering if someone with more than my very limited knowledge could review it and give any advice! Personally, I would disrecommend a non-modular power supply because you won't use half the cables it has and it makes for a messy case. I would recommend something like this instead:

Why not a GTX 760? $10 more and does better in most games.

Modular and Semi Modular are both things that are nice but aren't necessarily needed. You can still be very neat and still cable manage just fine you would just need to invest in cable ties and tie up the ones you aren't using. If it comes down to it and the non modular power supply is cheaper and it enables you to purchase something of higher quality then I would stick to that. In my opinion their are things we could split hairs with with your build. I don't care for the case I think its a cheap case but again if you like it you like it. Things like that have no real impact on the performance of your system much like a non modular versus modular PSU its more preference at that point.

Very good. However, if you're not going to use it for anything else, then you should get a 80 or 120 GB SSD.

I believe it really comes down to what you prefer. Personally I'm a single card guy so the motherboard you have is probably good enough for what you are doing. There isn't much that differentiates motherboards anymore except uber vrm's which is more directed to heavy overclocks and the 990fx to my knowledge is setup for multi gpu stuff.
