So, i'm looking to upgrade from a old machine, and was curious to hear opinions on my choices (my budget isn't set in stone but my choices should show a path, but I'm willing to save up a bit more if it proves bulletproof)

Edit: forgot to say the games I like.Fornite, LoL, WoW, CoD and I may always be into trying more demanding such as Witcher or other solo games and still don't want the experience ruined.

CPU - ryzen 5 2600 (looking for a "cheap" good performance option until I wait for the zen+, moment where i'll decide for a long term upgrade with intel or not)

GPU - either rtx 2060 (in case i want to go 1440p one day and have a cool experience within the games i play) or vega 56 (i save 40$) because, freesync but it scares me being older.

Ram - HyperX Predator ddr4 3200 2x8gb

I intend to play on a 1080p 144hz for the time being, but I might change my mind and would be cool to be at least prepared.

Motherboard - ATX MSI B450-A Pro

PSU - Nox Hummer X600W 80 plus bronze

Case - ATX Nox Hummer ZX

Disk - M.2 Samsung 980 Evo 250gb + 900gb hard drive i had here

If you read it all, and care to provide an opinion, thank you!

You can do FreeSync with Nvidia 10xx and 20xx GPUs now. Need to use DisplayPort.

I wouldn't buy a Vega56. AMD's Navi GPUs are due out in a couple months. Also, the GTX1660Ti is said to launch on/around Feb14th. Might want to wait.

Thank you! Didn't knew a 1660ti was about to go out as well. I heard about the Nvidia working on Freesync, are there any big limitations for that or is DisplayPort widely available and should be the same as using HDMI?

And sorry, last question, in that case EVGA 2060 would be a good long term contender? Even when Navi is out I'm not sure I want to spend the prices high tier graphics are going for tbh..
