You'd be better off with single titan black or 780ti. As far as gaming a single 770 is fine. And for compute work, sli does nothing, it only works with single cards. So either spend the same on a 780ti or just drop to a single 770

Looks good ! Might start with a single 780 and see how that does for you, then if it's not enough, could SLI it (prices hopefully would be down, or the new 8XX nVidia cards may be out
