Hi guys, could you rate my rig designed for gaming as well as giving some tips? Since I'm slighty annoyed by the 5000 rpm my cpu fan makes when I play bf3 at ultra. This was under 700 bucks.

Cpu: AMD FX-6350

Mobo: ASUS m5a78l le

Ram: 2x2gb ddr3 @1600mhz

Os: windows 7

Psu: 600 watt corsair

Gpu: AMD radeon (sapphire) hd 7870 2gb ghz edition.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers.

I don't know why you want a rating, honestly. Sounds pointless to me.

I appreciate your efforts. I was looking for a rating of this rig to see how well it stacks up to factory made rigs as well as how future proof it'll be.

This rig is something that you would pay about $1000 for, if it was a prebuilt system. And about future proofing... stop believing that this question can be answered. If on the next month, a game is released, that will need the most high-end cards to run, then your rig will already be outdated. Not likely to happen, but you just can't tell just like that how long a rig will last for. It also depends on every user. Some might start playing on ultra, and then get down on settings until they are on low, and then buy a new rig, and say that their rig was very future proofed. And some might start playing on ultra, and then, 8 months after, a game comes out, that they can't play on ultra, and there they buy a new PC. It really depends, and can only be answered by yourself, really.
