Hello everyone. :)

I'm a little new to the PC building game, but I've been a PC gamer for quite some time now, and I believe the time is now for a new rig.

This rig is intended for heavy gaming - Battlefield 3, MW3, Rage, Black Ops - all the epic and hardware intensive games I've been wanting to run will be handled by this PC on the highest of settings.

Here's the computer itself.

ASUS P8P67 DELUXE
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
Cooler Master Hyper 212+
MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Corsair TX750W
Corsair XMS3 8GB
WD Caviar Black 1TB
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1TB (Secondary)
Windows 7 Home Premium
Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced

And, the peripherals.

Razer BlackWidow
Razer Deathadder
SteelSeries QcK
Sennheiser PC 350
HP 2511

So, not counting tax and shipping, this rig should cost me around $2086. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks!

With the Deluxe at $220, I'd spring for an extra $20 and get the WS Revolution.....same as Deluxe but w/ NF200 chip thereby providing x16 x16 GFX as opposed to deluxe's x8 x8. Now ya get the $20 back by buying it in combo w/ the 2500k, so ya getting x16 x16 for free.

The 212 is great bargain cooler but it's by no means at the top of the pack. The 212 now has a sibling called the 612 and it kicks some tail. I use the Silver Arrow for the most part but at $80, the 612 is only 0.5C behind in this test making it look attractive at $50 MSRP....OTOH, it didn't fare quite so well in tests at other sites (i.e tweaktown)

Consider ....

HAF-X w/ Corsair AX850 - $350 for both
Antec DF-85 w/ CP-850 - $235 for both

I have built with the HAF-32, HAF-X and DF-85 (11 build total among the 3) and the DF-85 is easily my favorite. The CP-850 is as good electrically as anything twice the price and extremely quiet.

http://www.asrock.com/microsite/PCIe3/overview.html <----- PCI-E 3.0 is supported by the Ivy Bridge cpu's due out next spring, but not by the Sandy Bridge cpu's.

I wouldn't be spending money on a 2600K right now seeing how all the goodies will be with the new Ivy Bridge. So with that said....

@ the OP. If you can't do better than a single gtx 560 with a budget of $2,000 then something is very very wrong.
