MOBO; 990fxa um3 gigabyte
GPU;gtx 760
Ram; g skill 8 gb
HDD; seagate barracuda 1tb
Psu; evga 500wt 80 plus
DvD; ; ASUS 24X DVD Burner

btw i am buying all these parts from newegg for a total of about 750$

It's alright, the main complaint I have is the power supply.

With the fx 8320/8350, it's probably better to get a bigger/better power supply, so you have more headroom, if you want to overclock at least. A good 550w psu would probably give enough room for a decent overclock.

Outside that, it looks like a decent build.

i picked all the parts beforehand on partpicker and it said 394 watts. And the evga power supply had some of the best ratings on newegg while having exactly what i needed. all i really wanted to know if this pc could run some games like skyrim far cry bioshock things like that buts thanks anyways and i know i didnt specify that

I'll back Calnin. You'll want headroom to overclock and upgrade in the future, and using a power supply at 80% is not a good idea for the long term. A 600W power supply would be a better idea.

I'll third the headroom on the PSU. But it looks like you have enough.
I would only go through with that purchase if I knew I would;
a) never upgrade it, or
b) have money for a new one.

Either way, the PSU is the only problem.
