I think it depends on your budget. Overall I think thats a KILLER PC!

With that said, it depends on budget. If your budget was over $3k and you chose that, I'd say possibly a 5 or 6 because you could get better hardware like the GTX 1080. But the 470 is great, assuming it is according to budget.

If you find a GPU for cheaper, maybe look for a GTX 1060 6gb instead of the 470. Your choice! Overall I'd rate that a 8-8.5! You'll like it!

Actually the RX 480 8gb card gives the GTX 1070 a run for its money and in some cases beats the 1070s benchmarks. Plus it's VR ready.

Overall it's a good PC for a starting PC builder! Plenty of power from the PSU to overclock the GPU and CPU.

My suggestions would be to get an SSD Boot Drive for the OS and games if you don't already have one. Also if you plan on overclocking the CPU, maybe go for an all in one CPU watercooler.

Huh! i didnt know that. Thanks or the info. In that case, maybe a RX 480 may be the better investment here rather than the 1070!

I do love the GTX 10 series alot but AMD tends to shine for budget gamers and truly does a really nice job with their cards.

Actually poor balance here.
1> 6600k can be overclocked, but not with chosen mobo. Either get Z170 chipset mobo with 6600k or H110 with regular 6600.
2> what for all those HDD? take one SSD and one big HDD
3> if keeping 6600k, 16 Gb of ram is better choice, also rx470 is a bit low for that CPU so better to chose rx480 or gtx 1070
4> exact type of RAM chosen matters alot, just flat size and manufacturer not saying much

I agree with everything that DRagor said. Although 16Gb is not necessary at all for an average gamer/ budget PC. While yes it is nice to have 16, it isn't necessary and you won't see if any changes in FPS switching form 8 to 16. Another thing is that the 470 he chose will do just fine with the CPU he has. If he was on a budget the 470 will do just fine and will play most game at very nice fps and quality. Granted it's no 480 but it gets the job done and he can upgrade in the future.
