Hi, I'm looking to get a new PC with some inheritance money I've received recently and was wondering if people could give me their opinions. Not the most well versed with this sort of thing so any help would be greatly appreciated :).

The main things I'll be using this computer for will be gaming and video editing with both Premiere and After Effects. I'm also running 3 HP Pavillion monitors, (not sure how important or not that was to mention)

I plan to go through PC Specialist to build the system for me so that I may get a warrenty and just have it made better. If there's anywhere better to do so then please let me know.
I'll have more fans and whatnot but that's the main bulk of it
Thanks for any and all help :)

The Nvidia GTX1080 was just announced at $599 to launch in June.
It is supposed to be much faster than the current champ, the GTX980ti.
It is supposed to be a 180w card.
650w is plenty even for the old(now) GTX980ti.

If one must buy a card now, I might suggest a evga card which has a 90 day free upgrade program.

@ zeosinclair, your build was better, I think.
The Corsair RM is one of the better quality power supplies, tier 2 on this list; better than evga.

I do not agree with the extra cost for a Samsung 950 PRO.
I installed one because I had a use for the previous 850 evo. It benchmarks very well, but in actual usage, I could not tell the...
9/10.
A few nitpicks:

1. 14nm I7-6700K does not need exceptional cooling.
A simple tower type cooler with a140mm fan will be quieter, cheaper and more reliable. Noctua NH-U14s for example.

2. 240gb is likely a bit small. 500gb would be better.

3. WD blue hybrid may not be your best drives to use. 5400rpm is a bit slow.
Here is a nice article on the WD rainbow:

I was not too keen on installing the m.2 drive under the graphics card. It works fine there, but changing it out will be a pain.

As to liquid cooling, here is
My canned rant on liquid cooling:
------------------------start of rant-------------------
You buy a liquid cooler to be able to extract an extra multiplier or two out of your OC.
How much do you really need?
I do not much like all in one liquid coolers when a good air cooler like a Noctua or phanteks can do the job just as well.
A liquid cooler will be expensive, noisy, less reliable, and will not cool any better
in a well ventilated case.
Liquid cooling is really air cooling, it just puts the heat exchange in a different place.
The orientation of the radiator will cause a problem.
If you orient it to take in cool air from the outside, you will cool the cpu better, but the hot air then circulates inside the case heating up the graphics card and motherboard.
If you orient it to exhaust(which I think is better) , then your cpu cooling will be less effective because it uses pre heated case air.
And... I have read too many tales of woe when a liquid cooler leaks.
google "H100 leak"
-----------------------end of rant--------------------------

Your pc will be quieter, more reliable, and will be cooled equally well with a decent air cooler.

So would you say that I'd be better waiting to get the 1080 and swap the water cooler for a decent air cooler? Think I'll also get some HDDs with a higher speed, seemed like a decent idea
