I'd size up to a 2TB SSD, go bigger on your cpu cooler and look at an RTX 3080 Ti 12GB. You could do that by making a few changes to your build and still stay within that budget.

Something like this .... and btw this psu down below is manufactured by Seasonic just like that Corsair psu in your link is and has a 10 year warranty.

i already have a m.2, ssd, and hdd currently that id likely use, while waiting for ddr5 drives to drop (hopefully soon) and then will do so
Took the advice on the mobo, case, 3080ti. Thanks!

The power supply, being gold rather than platinum seems it would be less worthy as future proof, with less modular/ports to it. Any reason to sell me on that one other than simply cheaper?
For cpu cooling, why go with black rock 4? From what i see in research, the Noctua leads with a constant 3/4 degrees coolor, with the the pros of black rock being quieter ( headset, who cares) and cheaper. So is it simply a cost effectiveness move?
For RAM, i found the GSkill variation with 6000mhz as well, but with a 36 cas vs kingston's 40. Any reason for that switch off, when price difference is $10?

DDR5 is a huge waste of money. You can get 64gb of ddr4 for less than 32gb of ddr5. That cooler is overpriced. The 12700k is cheaper than the KF right now.

No matter what changes you decide to make you want to size up on the cpu cooler. As far as Gold vs Platinum .... the efficiency rating difference is slim at best.

In what way do you mean "size up?" The third fan? If so, theres a study noctua themselves released, showing a third fan had minimal difference in cooling, with significantly more noise if so

The ddr5 GSkill RAM is about ~100 more, making the choice of mobo and ram more long term sufficient, with ddr5 only going to become more and more cheap as time goes as well. 100$ to me is worth the longevity in the mobo choice of newer tech. Any reason to disagree would be welcomed

$100 more for half the ram capacity. A 32gb kit of ddr4 is another $135 cheaper, than the 64gb kit of ddr4. A Z690 ddr4 board is going to handle the same tech as a ddr5 board. The only difference is the ram. All the chipset features are identical. Raptor lake will work in current Z690 boards. I highly doubt 14th gen will. Intel you usually get 2 gens, out of the first edition, of chips on a similar process. ie 2600k, 4770k, 6700k, 8700k, 10700k. The boards that came out for those chips worked with the next gen after them.
