I wanted to run Battlefield 4 at ultra 1080p

Upgrade the GPU if you want Ultra. This will only give you barely High settings in BF4.

RAM: better and cheaper
Case: much better airflow. this is important.
GPU: big upgrade. You will play BF4 on Ultra with 2xMSAA

Get an r9 280, it's $20 more and a lot bettter than the 270. Also get a mid-tower case, more expensive but better expansion options than a mini.

I'd recommend SSD for your Gaming/OS drive. Load times rage me out. SSD is a God send.

It shouldn't but, go with the Asus r9 280
