When I firstsaw them, I thought, hmm another mouse pad. Only this mouse pad costs 10 bux....

After a few really good reviews, I thought I would give them a try, got 2 for me and a coworker for office use. Mine paired with a Logitech MX500 mouse is SOOO nice. I work CAD work, and some image work, and this large mousepad keeps this thing gliding so well.

I must reccomend them. Its big, nice and is only ~$10 on the net. I got mine from ThinkGeek

... And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free, and I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.

Found this post while searching for a recommended replacement for MY!! Ratzpadz GS so I'll give you some good advice. This mouse padz zucks, within a few months of use it starts to eat your mouse feet. The slick textured surface wears down and becomes smooth and gritty. What a waste of money!!!! anyhow, what would be a good time tested replacement???

I prefer Everglide Optical Mouse Pads, and then cover the feet of the mouse with Mouse Skatez (which is really nothing but Teflon Tape). If you keep the pad clean, one application of the tape can last for months.

The optical pad really does make a huge difference with accuracy, especially for gaming ... I can attest to that personally. The quality level is high, and these pads are far superior to the original Everglide pads released a few years ago.

I keep on reading about teflon pads for my mouse feet, so I got to thinking about skipping the middle man and going right to the source. I grabbed a teflon coated cookie sheet from the kitchen and placed my mouse on it WOW!!!!! it could win the gold!!! it slides like a hockey puck on ice. There were scrathes on the sheet so when I get a chance I'll bring my mouse down to my local walmart and see what I can find. There are different teflon coatings but the silver/gray smooth one worked the best. (I claim all rights to this idea, I'm not kidding!!!)
