RAW to NTFS

my external hard disk suddenly need to be format but when i tried to format it the windows said it's cannot be formatted. and the file system is RAW too. i've tried all the methods mini tool, cmd, diskpart, make a new partition but all of the solutions doesn't worked out 🙁 and the capacity of the disk also becomes smaller than it should be. i wanna skip the recovery step and just wanna make the external disk usable again. please help me. thank you

Hey there, Mrazm.

Have you gotten any error messages when you've tried any of those methods? Basically this is not a good sign, because when a drive loses its file system, this could mean that it might have become faulty. Since you don't need to recover data, I'd recommend that you download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool and run the tests to see what's the situation with the drive.
You should also give it a try with a different USB cable and a different computer, if you have that option, to see if the same thing happens.
