Question Ray Tracing Coming to Non-RTX GPUs: 10-Series, 1660s Included

Why would they want to infect these new card which look promising with their new garbage ray traying? If they are going to force ray tracing on the GTX 1660 series then it loses all the benefits over the RTX line. I don't want that crap on my GPU, so I guess this card isn't the option I hoped it would be. Looks like I'm waiting till August to see what AMD has to offer.
