I was playing some BF4 tonight and all of a sudden my mouse disconnected, before I could really react it reconnected and I assumed it was just a windows update or something. A few minutes later it happened again, and again. Thinking it was just an issue with BF4(no surprise) I quit playing to see what was going on, i flipped over my mouse to check the cord connection and if there was any issue with the bottom of it and all my USB connections cut out (keyboard mouse headset) and would not reconnect leaving me to reboot.

Boots up no problem all USB devices are ok and even work in BIOS, but again shortly after being on my desktop for no more than 2 minutes all my devices cut out again. I looked online and found others were having power saver issues, I went through all the fixes and thought I had it.

To humor myself I flipped the mouse over again to REALLY make sure nothing was up, and yet again the LED lights went out and all of my devices stopped working again. Had it figured that its my mouse disconnecting that is causing everything else to stop working.

My question is why would that be the case? My mouse cord being broken and disconnecting causes everything else to take a dump? Has anyone else had an issue like this?

(I didnt really want to buy a Naga but my buddy sold me on it)

I have a Naga and have never experienced anything of the sort! Make sure Razer Synapse is fully up to date. If the problems persist, I suggest trying another mouse, maybe just some cheap one that you have lying around, and see if your USB devices continue to disconnect. If you're in to FPS gaming, the Razer Naga probably isn't the best choice for a mouse. I would say that it is the best mouse for mixed gaming and use however.
