I don't know too much about keyboards but I need to upgrade from a very old Dell which has finally died on me for the most part.

Anyways I'm leaning towards the Blackwidow Stealth Edition because after the research I've done it seems I'd vastly prefer the more silent edition.

I've searched everywhere and this thing is literally unattainable. Even the Razer website says I'd have to wait 4 weeks before it comes available.

So I'm wondering if there is anything else that is pretty much exactly the same as this keyboard? The thing is the key layout is most important to me and this one has pretty much identical keys as my current Dell. Steelseries keyboards all have that unnecessarily large "L" shaped Enter key which really annoy me. So unfortunately, they're all pretty much out.

If anyone can find a reputable site where I can buy a 2013 Razer Blackwidow Stealth Edition that would be ideal. Otherwise, can anyone recommend something very similar?

The Blackwidow Stealth is quiet as it uses MX Brown keyswitches, which are fairly common, with o-rings to prevent you from bottoming out, which you can get aftermarket.

There are a bunch of good mechanical keyboard makers, Ducky (what I use), Das, Coolermaster, Max and Filco. There are more but they escape me right now.
I recommend going for a Ducky Shine III with Brown switches, and get some aftermarket o-rings. MechanicalKeyboards.com should have both.
