I have recently upgraded to a 1TB Samsung EVO SSD, upon reinstalling Windows 8.1 and going crazy at being able to have all of my games in one place I came across an issue with my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014.
It all worked fine until I updated the ASMedia 3.0 USB drivers and all of a sudden boom, it lights up but no keys work UNLESS I install Razer Synapse 2.0 (which I hate).
So far I have:
Uninstalled the ASMedia 3.0 drivers
Rolled back the Razer Keyboard drivers
Installed old firmware / drivers whilst completely removing Synapse cleaning the registry.
Followed all tutorials found online.
If anyone can point me in the right direction to be able to use my peripherals again without this dreadful software that would be a godsend, it's been 5 hours I've sat here fiddling around now.
