Good Day.

I have a razer blade 13, 2017 intel i7 7700hq, gtx1060. It has a m.2 slot where original ssd was samsung nvme pcie.. The ssd i used in my son laptop for his school. Now i have intel ssd which is m.2 sata.

When i pluh the ssd in razer blade it does not detect it. In bios i have an option enable disable sata controller and ahci or auto. No matter what settings it just wont recognize it.

So does it mean that the laptop support only pcie ssd or i am doing anything wrong..? When installing windows there is no ssd visible.

Thanks

Stick with the same type of M.2 SSD as the one that you removed as I've just seen specs which say the slot only supports NVMe PCIe SSD, not M.2 SATA.

Try to get that M.2 SATA SSD exchanged if possible.
