[SOLVED] Razer Blade 2019 i7-9750H heating issue

So when gaming this CPU is hot hot hot, hitting temps between 80 and 100 avg=87-93c... even with under-volting by .125 roughly.... my question is. Should i ignore this heat when gaming or should i use throttle stop lower clock speeds, and undervolt.. I did lower clock speeds before from a (45,44,43,42,41,40) to a (40,39,38,37,36,35) with an undervolt of .110 and saw significant improvement on performance... but wasnt really sure if it was safe.. is if safe t perform such tasks? or should i just leave it at factory settings?

As long as you keep cpu temps below 95C, it should be fine.
I suggest investing in one of those adjustable/angled cooling pads like the ones below, if you haven't already. The pad doesn't have to have a fans at all, the back end of the laptop just needs to be elevated.

right right i did something similar... my primary concern with this.. is does it cause any issues??
like i could be over thinking this because i dont know much about it.. but does the voltage need to be within a certain spec for the clock cycles?

so if you reduced the Boost (like i did) does that effect the cpu negatively in the long run? and what exactly does that do? reducing the boost?

forgive me like i said im pretty new to this

Unlike with the Ryzen alternative, that cpu does not care about operating temps except for the critical limit at 100C.
It could be at 98/100C and STILL run at max boost frequency. Of course, that's not good in the long run, but there's not a lot to be done about it before you start cutting into the cpu's performance.
There's a limit to what manufacturers can cram into such tiny and cramped spaces and maintain good thermals, while being lightweight, and keeping costs down.
A bigger cooler would provide better thermals, but add to the overall weight and cost.

It would also appear that the built-in cooler in sizzling's G5 is more efficient than your Blade.
