Razer Deathadder 2014 issue

I have this mouse and the problem is that it's pretty light and the wire drags the mouse almost like you have a distant weight on it which is different every time, the drag isn't consistent so I can't get used to it so if anyone knows something I can do, I've tried taping the wire in different ways and have not succeeded, the problem is that I have a small desk and I put my whole hand on the desk as in my elbow touches the desk I don't put just my wrist like other people please help if you can.

i zip tie my mouse cable to my desk giving just enough play so it doesn't constantly catch.
