So i got a razer deathadder 3.5g for Christmas and then saw a 2013 version. So the only difference i saw was that they both have different colors. I think that there is more differences.

Anyway i'm just curious what the differences are.

Also tell me if it's worth getting the 2013 version.

Btw i don't know much about mices other than dpi and such.

Solution
Not too big of a difference. LED lights are different, the 2013 one is green. The 2013 edition also has these little rubber grip parts placed where your thumb and pinky/ring finger would be while holding the mouse, which is a lot more useful than you'd think. Other than that, there's not much of a difference. The DPI increase shouldn't be a major factor, since very few people exceed 2k or 3k DPI. Mouse sensitivity just gets too high at that point for most normal uses.

The differences are minimal. The 3.5G uses a blue color scheme whereas the 2013 is the newer neon green motif. Additionally, the newer version has a rubber grip on the thumb side below the two thumb buttons for better grip. The 3.5G lacks this. The sensor in the newer version is also slightly improved. Here are the two mice directly from Razer's site:

The 3.5G is no longer available as a page, but here's the master sheet which you can download and check yourself:
