Question Razer Deathadder disconnnecting when screen goes black

Okay, so I use Windows 7 and when I switch user or log out, the screen goes black for a moment. After it returns to its normal state, the mouse disconnects and I have to reconnect it again. It isn't too much of a problem but can be annoying. Any solutions?

My pc is relatively old, and it was a prebuilt workstation with an intel core 2 quad. I also installed a dedicated gpu in this machine a few years ago (ATI radeon hd 7750). For the psu, I have no idea of the model.
