Razer deathadder doesnt work on white surfaces?

I just got my death adder and it doesn't seem to work on most of my mouse pad, ive set up calibration and everything but theres this really bright red/white part on my mouse pad and when the sensor goes over it, my arrow freaks out. Do i need a fully black mouse pad for the death adder?

I see that in the foot notes of some pads so its a known issues what pad will or may not work too well with some mice -

my old mouse worked like crap [ freaked out or skipped around or just nothing much at all ] with any of my pads but was spot on with the bare desk top of this desk?

also, i have a glass table and my deathadder actually works perfectly on it! with no mouse pad! wtf?!

that's the thing the pads = poor a hard surface like the top of the desk or the top of the computer case [no pad at all ] = worked fine heck I had one mouse that semed to do its best on a cardboard box lid I just tore off for something to use ??

just find whats best and shrug your shoulders and go with it ..

Hahaha yeah man mice are weird sometimes. im really loving this deathadder though! Its awesome! i was debating whether to get the logitech g502 or the deathadder chrome and i think i make the right choice. the 11 buttons on the g502 woulda been super nice but im very satisfied with the deathadder
