Razer Deathadder Driver Question

Just a quick question. For the deathadder, is Razer Synapse considered the mouse's "driver"? Because I've found their 3.05 driver, but only in the archives. Razer Synapse is on the main driver download page. Is there a difference between the drivers and Razer Synapse?

Figured it out by trying the drivers. Synapse is the driver now. Thanks for the help!
