[SOLVED] Razer deathadder elite not working

Hey guys, i've come here often looking at posts to try and fix various things, and i finally registered to try and get help with a specific problem.

I've had this mouse for about 3 years now, and it's pretty much worked without an issue. 2 days ago i did a forced restart on my computer and when i came home from work and turned my PC on, as soon as i got to the login screen my mouse went from the middle of the screen, all the way to the top left corner. I cannot move it, but the mouse click buttons work. I have a razer deathadder elite. So i went and got my backup mouse, and with both mouses plugged in at once, my backup mouse can move the pointer away from the corner, but every 4 seconds the deathadder makes it go back to the top left. I've uninstalled the mouse from the device manager, restarted the computer, same issue.

I've also uninstalled synapse, reinstalled it, same thing. Plugged the deathadder into a laptop and it does the same thing there. The only reason i'm posting here, rather then going out to buy a new mouse is because this has happened one time before, and it seemed to have resolved itself. The mouse worked again the next day. I have no idea what happened to fix it, but it worked. I was hoping it would do that again, but i've had no luck as of yet, and cannot find any posts online that relate to my specific issue. Anything you might be able to suggest will be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping i don't have to get a new mouse, and it goes without saying that i'm not going to be doing anymore forced restarts lol

Solution
I cannot see anything you can do yourself to solve this permanently. It is most likely faulty control circuit/IC.

The only thing you can possibly try to do yourself is to blown the optical sensor free of dust while mouse is off (protect your eyes).

Thanks for the reply. I've already taken the mouse apart and cleaned it top to bottom. I'm happy to say the issue has again seemed to fix itself. I left the mouse unplugged overnight and when i tried again this morning it was working. I think i'm going to get a new mouse in the near future and might stray away from razer products.
