Razer deathadder getting stuck

So, ive had this mouse for 2 and half years already, and its been great. But one problem im constantly having lately, is that the mouse gets stuck sometimes for about a second when i pick it up and put it back on the mat/table. It gets really annoying when playing cause of reaction speed, a second can be a lot of time. Would love if someone can help me.

Mine would stop responding on the odd occasion, reducing the polling rate seems to have fixed it and mad no noticeable difference in games
