Razer Gaming Mouse?

So I've decided its time for my decade-old dell mouse to go, and I have decided on getting a Razer mouse because of the quality. I'm currently stuck between the Razer Taipan and the Razer Imperator. The Mamba is also a possibility but it's too expensife ATM. So between the Taipan and the Imperator, what are the key differences (other than the Taipan's higher DPI) and which one is better, for FPS gaming? In the US they are both currently available for $80 USD.
