Razer headset not working when plugged into razer keyboard

I have the the Kraken 7.1 v2 headset and a Black Widow Chroma V2 Keyboard. When I plug in the headset to the additional port on the keyboard I get a windows error saying "USB Device not Recognized"? When I plug my mouse into the additional port it works fine AND the headset is fine on any other port on my pc as long as it isn't connected to the keyboard. Anybody know how I can fix this?

Razer quality control... Contact them, and expect nothing, and you won't be disappointed.

Right click on the sound icon on your taskbar and click on playback devices. Make sure that your headphones are the ones with the checkmark by it. If not, right click on the headphones and set them up as the default device. Generally when you plug in headphones it will make the change on its own, but sometimes it doesn't do it.
