That's my same thought. I considered a Mamba a few times last year, but with this change I'm unlikely to get one.

So what can we expect in actual performance? I'm guessing something like the Logitech MOBA mouse, only cheaply made and more expensive.

Being the owner of the previous Mamba 2012 I can say do not buy these shitty mice. Their quality is woeful. Extremely overpriced. I am now the happy owner of Logitech Proteus Core G502. Much better mouse all-round and less than half the cost.
