I have a 2016 Razer Blackwidow keyboard and only the D key is not working. I took the entire keyboard apart and cleaned it but it still will not register 100% of the time. Is it possible to remove the mound or whatever it's called that the keycap connects to? I suspect some dirt is under it but I don't know how to safely remove them. I don't want to replace the entire keyboard for 1st key but I program a lot and it has become infinity harder. Thanks.

Well, you could replace the key switch with new one but do note that this requires soldering since key switches are soldered to the KB PCB. That, and it's quite hard to find individual Razer Chroma key switches on sale. Though, Razer KBs are compatible with Cherry MX key switches and those are far easier to find on sale,
