Review Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra Review: Fantastic Webcam, Frustrating Software

I've been debating between these three webcams for when there are 200 people presentations.

During the day I have a large window behind me with a beautiful forest. Unfortunately it overwhelms most webcams and causes blow outs.

And at night it's easy to overload the sensor with too much light because I have a led neewer light box and mount dog soft box lamp for 3 point lighting.

Other times I'll be sitting in a leather chair with a single sodium vapor torchiere lighting the room which makes it dim.

I really need a camera that is good with high dynamic ranges and can balance them out without blowout and loss of features.

The Kiyo Pro Ultra is a 4K/30fps webcam that delivers fantastic images with its extra-large 1/1.2-inch sensor and has an innovative integrated privacy shutter. The only downside, aside from its $300 price tag, is Razer Synapse 3.

The Logitech BRIO 4K Webcam does everything that the Kiyo Ultra 4K does and it only costs $133 on Amazon. I use the BRIO and it is the best webcam I have ever owned. For work or play and for streaming, it does it all.

Do yourself a favor. If you are actually thinking about $300 for a webcam, just bite the bullet amd get a real 4K dslr/mirrorless, etc... You won't regret it. I know I regret wasting so much time and money on stupid webcams that don't do what you want. Buy once, cry once. edit: have the worthless brio 4K , other logitechs, the razer original. All are complete garbage compared to a used Sony Alpha you can get foranother $200 at most. If its for business, stop wasting the tax write off. A plug in mic makes the sound orders of magnitude superior.
