Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma Headset not working

So earlier today I was using my headset to talk to my friends. I went and took a shower and came back, and my headset was apparently not working correctly. My friends said I sounded like I was talking into an empty cup, and I sounded very quiet. I tried unplugging and replugging my headset. I restarted my computer multiple times. Anyone have any ideas?

Try another headset - to determine if its a PC or headset problem.

It's just this headset. It seems that every time I touch the cord or mic stick thing it makes a lot of noise.
