For the past 2 months I've been using a Razer Naga, the 2014 edition. All fine and dandy, until today when it stopped working all of a sudden. I was just listening to some music on YouTube, wanted to change the song, and as soon as I touched the mouse, waiting for the cursor to move, I heard the 'device disconnected' sound coming from the speakers, followed my the lights on the mouse turning off and the cursor being stuck. I tried then plugging and unplugging, changing into another USB port, tried it even on another computer, nothing. I just can't get it to work.

At this point I wanted to just search for the warranty papers and send it back, but then I noticed that my computer won't even turn on with the Naga connected to it, displaying the BIOS message 'USB device over current status detected, will shutdown in 15 seconds'.

Is there anything I can do? It's obvious the USB ports are not faulty, and that the problem is the mouse, but is there anything I could try to make it work? I've been surfing the internet for an answer, but no one seemed to have had this problem yet...

UPDATE #1:
Another mouse, a Logitech G500 is now in the same condition, so it's obvious the problem is the motherboard, since the Naga was plugged in the back USB and the Logitech in the front USB when they stopped working. Any idea on what I should do? I'm scared to even turn on the computer now...

The motherboard is an Asus Maximus VII Ranger, bought 3 or 4 months ago, which worked fine always...until now... I checked the voltages on all USBs (rear and front / 2.0 - 3.0) and compared them to the voltages I have on my laptop, and they are exactly the same. Therefore, I have no idea what may be causing the problem. Also now, devices connected to the turned off computer, first an external HDD on USB 3.0, followed by a Reloop Mixer on 2.0 turned on by themselves, while I wasn't even touching the computer.
