Razer naga epic chroma froze

i recently purchased razer naga epic chroma. the light seems broken where the light went off after one cycle of spectrum and the cursor froze for a while. what seems to be the problem?

i have the same problem here...i tried to plug it into any USB hub my computer has but nothing changed...
